3/14/14 Pi Day
In the U.S., mathematicians and non-mathematicians alike celebrate the day dedicated to Pi. Pi is the irrational constant able to be rounded to 3.14, represented by the 16th letter of the greek alphabet. March, being the third month, represents the whole number in pi (3). The rounded decimal part (14) is used as the day. Pi is used to calculate any measurements relating to a shape with no sides. Like a circle or an ellipsoid, also known as an oval. Enjoy Pi Day! If you want to learn more, go to genre, and into the Pi! section.
3/20/14-3/21/14 The Equinox
