Hey Guys!
Believe it or not, this is the first time I have had to blog in a long time. And I don't even have that much time too, now I have to do my homework. But I just want to update you on whats going on in life.
SO... where should I start?
Oh yes! Yesterday, I watched Zero Dark Thirty. IT IS GREAT!! Watch it, watch it, watch it! It kept me on my edge until the very end even though I knew exactly what was going to happen. Katherine Bigelow does that. She makes movies that wrench your heart and mind and make you think about what's going on. I am assuming most people know in a general sense what it is about, so I just want to skim a little over what I thought about it. No spoiler alert... I will try not to give anything important away.
Firstly, I was surprised that it was actually a woman who did most of the work. Not to degrade woman, I am just saying that human nature is to assume that a field operation was planned by a man. Many people, I bet, and I would think that if a woman really was behind all this, it would have been a big deal and would not have kept this from us. I guess the CIA is really secretive. They wouldn't tell Bigelow the name of the woman either, which is understandable too, because everyone would be after her and she would get many threats to her life. Secondly, I was surprised that OBL (Osama Bin Laden) could stay undercover for so long. 8 years after 9/11! I can't believe it. There are other things I was surprised about too. My dad told me that the Pakistani people were actually against America in this matter. They stole the design for the stealth fighter plane (because one crashed into the compound) and sold it to China. China now has American stealth fighter plane technology! They even put the doctor who helped the Americans (by trying to get into the compound to get a blood sample from the children to check whether it really was OBL [DNA Samples\) in prison. This did not make any sense because it gave me the impression that they wanted to help OBL! But there was a bomb blast in Islamabad by Al Qaeda. This does not make sense to me! Why would the Pakistani government help the ones who killed their people?! Politics are crazy. Math all the way!!
But watch it!! It is a really good movie!
Sorry, I have to do my homework now!
Gotta big lab due tomorrow!
SEE YA! Keep mathin'.
